Community Collaboration Continues on the University Avenue Grand Corridor

Following our project kickoff earlier this fall, CSWST2 continues to support the City of East Palo Alto in shaping the future of University Avenue—a corridor that plays a vital role in connecting neighborhoods, schools, parks, civic destinations, and local businesses.

Throughout the fall, our team has been working closely with City staff, stakeholders, and community members to develop early design concepts that reflect the values and vision of East Palo Alto. These concepts focus on mobility, access, safety, and placemaking—helping to define how this corridor can support all modes of travel and become a stronger part of daily life in the city.

A second public workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, where we’ll share these early concepts and continue building momentum together. We look forward to gathering input, learning from the community, and moving the design process forward.

Stay tuned for more updates as this important effort continues to take shape.
