Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Rehabilitation | Marin County, CA

$25.00

CSWST2 worked with Marin County to rehabilitate Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, a heavily traveled and constrained corridor serving schools, neighborhoods, and regional destinations. Limited right-of-way, existing development, and challenging topography required creative design solutions to improve safety and mobility.

The project introduced targeted roadway, intersection, and accessibility improvements to enhance conditions for pedestrians and bicyclists while maintaining vehicular capacity. Public outreach played a key role in communicating design tradeoffs and building community understanding around complex traffic and safety considerations.

The rehabilitation improves corridor function and safety while extending the service life of critical infrastructure in a highly constrained setting.
