CSWST2 supported the City of Half Moon Bay with planning and design for the replacement of the Mirada Road pedestrian bridge, a critical coastal access connection impacted by storm damage and sea-level rise concerns.
The project involved evaluating replacement alternatives and developing design solutions responsive to coastal hazards, regulatory requirements, and public access needs. CSWST2’s work addressed structural, grading, and drainage considerations while coordinating within a highly regulated coastal environment.
The project strengthens safe access along the coastline while supporting long-term resilience of public infrastructure.
