CSWST2 partnered with the City of Hayward to transform Main Street—at the heart of the historic downtown—into a complete and green street that supports walkability, placemaking, and economic vitality.
The project evaluated and refined streetscape alternatives incorporating bicycle facilities, sidewalk improvements, lighting, bulb-outs, and landscaping to balance transportation needs with community activity.
