Hal Brown Park Improvements | Corte Madera, CA
CSWST2 provided civil engineering services for the restoration and access improvements at Hal Brown Park, supporting Marin County Parks’ vision to enhance public recreation while protecting the sensitive Creekside Marsh ecosystem.
The project introduced a new 120-foot prefabricated bridge, an elevated ADA-compliant boardwalk, and a network of accessible pathways. These improvements address chronic flooding, improve circulation for all users, and restore tidal connectivity to support long-term wetland health.
Designed with climate resilience in mind, the new bridge and supporting infrastructure are built to withstand future sea-level rise and increased storm events—strengthening the park’s ecological function while enhancing accessibility and community enjoyment.
