CSWST2 provided civil engineering services for the replacement of Novato Fire Station 64, supporting a new two-story, 9,500-square-foot public safety facility. The station includes expanded living quarters, a dual-bay apparatus garage, administrative offices, and training amenities, with seismic upgrades and energy-efficient systems supporting long-term resilience.
Working with Glass Architects, CSWST2 designed site grading, stormwater drainage, apparatus access, and utility connections for the new facility. The team coordinated water, sanitary sewer, and fire suppression infrastructure and incorporated stormwater treatment measures aligned with the project’s sustainability goals.
Completed in early 2014, the station earned LEED Platinum certification in 2017. CSWST2’s work helped integrate the new facility with surrounding infrastructure while supporting reliable emergency access and sustainable site performance.
