Diego Curiel, EIT
Diego earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from UC Davis after beginning his studies at Chabot College in Hayward, CA. In his role as Engineer I, Diego assists with the preparation of construction documents through AutoCAD drafting and project design. He has experience working on streetscape and hydrology projects and is actively working towards obtaining his Professional Engineering license.
Outside of work, Diego’s love for problem-solving extends into his personal life, where he enjoys puzzles, math challenges, and competitive sports, especially soccer and basketball. Passionate about community impact, Diego finds extra meaning in projects like new soccer field developments, reflecting on his own experiences as a young player. He’s looking forward to crossing “attend a World Cup game” off his bucket list when the tournament comes to the U.S. in a few years.
