Originally envisioned as a large mixed-use community including a variety of residential neighborhoods, a shopping area, school and marina, this property was finally approved as a public 18-hole championship level golf course nestled among the hills in the Black Point area of east Novato, California.

The golf course is separated into two distinct areas: The lower course, which is near sea level and has the potential to serve as a detention area during heavy rainfall events should the nearby Novato Creek overflow its banks, and the upper course which meanders around the hill near the center of the property. The golf course is quite heavily used and offers a clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant, meeting rooms and banquet facilities.
