This project involves the complete reconstruction and restoration of six city blocks in downtown Petaluma. This unique public-private partnership between the City and a developer included the City’s first theater in many years, new commercial office space, residential housing, street improvements, underground utilities, and a new parking garage.
CSW|ST2 prepared the plans, specifications, and opinions of probable cost for this major street improvement project. Work included new underground utilities, upgrading the storm and sanitary sewer systems, installing new curb, gutter, and sidewalks, as well as resurfacing the streets. Particular attention was paid to maintaining existing grades along building frontages while improving drainage patterns.
