Tamalpais Unified School District - Mill Valley, Larkspur, and Fairfax, California.
CSW/ST2 provided civil engineering assessment services and recommendations to the District Facilities Master Plan for three school sites: Tamalpais High School (Mill Valley), Redwood High School (Larkspur) and Sir Francis Drake High School (Fairfax). Our work involved the infrastructure evaluation of each of the three sites and preparation of a report covering areas such as the paving and surfacing of parking lots, outside courtyard areas and exterior walkways; drainage issues based on visual evidence and maintenance personnel input; and grading issues based on visual evidence and maintenance personnel input. We prepared separate work item lists for each of the three sites which included options based on the level of repair needed, a priority matrix and range of options, and opinions of probable costs for repair or replacement. We are about to begin improvement projects as part of the team selected to design improvements and upgrades following passage of a recent bond measure.
