UCSF Mission Bay – San Francisco, California.
CSW/ST2 has been selected to develop a civil master plan for the next phase of the Mission Bay campus. The site offers numerous challenges. As a reclaimed tideland and a long-time rail yard, the site has geotechnical and hazardous materials constraints. The site has little topographic relief, so storm water drainage will be critical. Also, the utility needs for medical research are constantly evolving, so the master plan must have as much flexibility as possible to accommodate the changing needs.
