Creekside Office Condominiums - Novato, California.
These two-story office condominiums are situated on the bank of Novato Creek in the heart of Novato. CSW/ST2 provided civil and structural engineering services for the developer. The small site and proximity to the creek presented some unique challenges for our civil engineering staff. Fixed-base moment frames were utilized to reduce the column sizes and the frames are founded on a system of large grade-beam foundations. The discovery of an ancient Miwok Indian grave-site during excavation for the foundations halted construction for several months.
