Infineon Raceway Water Distribution System and Storage Tanks – Sonoma, California.
The major redevelopment and expansion effort at Infineon Raceway began in 1998 with a vision to turn Infineon into a world-class racing facility. As part of this effort, CSW/ST2 prepared the water facilities master plan, including modeling and design. The project also included development of contract documents for bidding and construction, and all construction staking. In addition, we designed one 500,000 gallon and two 400,000 gallon water storage tanks for domestic and fire flow use. The bolted steel construction tanks were constructed on spread footings and are located in a saddle of Cougar Mountain to minimize view impacts from surrounding areas.
