Marie Doherty (Inkwells) Bridge - Lagunitas, California.
CSW/ST2 was selected by the County of Marin and Marin Municipal Water District to design this 162 foot long, three span bridge over the Inkwells section of Lagunitas Creek. The bridge serves double duty as a major link in the Marin trail system, connecting nearby Kent Lake trails to the old railroad grade trail that extends through Samuel P. Taylor State Park to Tocaloma Bridge Road. The bridge also supports two 36" diameter water pipes which transport water from Kent Lake and Nicasio Reservoir to the water treatment plant that provides potable water to north-central Marin County.
