Jim Grossi Promoted to Management Team

Jim Grossi has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer at CSW/Stuber-Stroeh Engineering Group, Inc. Jim will oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm while continuing to direct the efforts of several CSW/ST2 project teams. With more than 30 years of civil engineering and operations experience, Jim has managed and designed many prominent projects in Northern California for public, educational, institutional and private clients.

For the second year in a row, CSW/ST2 was selected as one of the Best Places to Work in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal. CSW/ST2 was selected from companies in Sonoma, Napa, and Marin Counties based on ratings of credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. All winners of this prestigious honor are featured in a special section of the Business Journal published in September.
Key In The Door Award June 2007
CSW/ST2 Receives Key in the Door Award

CSW/ST2 was presented the Key in the Door Award by Northbay Family Homes in recognition of our leadership as the engineering improvement team for the Meadow Park Project in Novato. CSW/ST2 provided a wide variety of engineering and related design services to complete the adaptive residential re-use of the 1,000 acre former Hamilton Air Force Base.

Two CSW/ST2 Employees Now Registered Professionals

CSW/ST2 is proud to announce that two of our employees have passed their licensing examinations.

Edward Holstead passed the professional engineering exam and is now a Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. Ed has been working in the structural engineering department of CSW/ST2 for the past year and has over three years of experience in the field of structural design. His experience includes the design of buildings and structures using timber, steel, concrete, and masonry construction.

Tracy Park passed the professional land surveyor examination and is now a Registered Land Surveyor in the State of California. Tracy has been with CSW/ST2 for four years and has 10 years of experience in the field of surveying. Tracy has worked on several projects in the North Bay including Infineon Raceway in Sonoma and the Redwood Landfill Aqueduct Relocation in Novato and has extensive construction surveying experience.

CSW/ST2 Principal One of Marin's 13 Most Influential People

Marin Magazine named Diet Stroeh one of Marin's 13 Most Influential People. The article recognizes those whose efforts resulted in Marin, being Marin. Diet was selected based on his work as Marin Municipal Water District's General Manager during the 25-month drought in the 1970's. Diet imposed severe rationing and even considered towing icebergs from Chile before installing a pipeline across the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge to bring water to the County. Others on the list include William Kent, Barbara Boxer, and George Lucas.

CSW/ST2 was presented the Corporate Community Service Award during the 14th Annual Heart of Marin Awards. We received the award based on our company culture of volunteerism, philanthropy, and our strong commitment to community service. In the past year, CSW/ST2 employees have held various leadership roles and have volunteered time, energy, money, and services to support numerous community needs and programs. We are proud to be recognized for the efforts of our staff!
