	CSW/ST2 provides a supportive and friendly work environment, encourages professional development, and provides opportunities for advancement. Postcard from our "8th annual Salsa Contest". As a multi-disciplinary firm our staff enjoys the opportunity to interact and collaborate with others in-house who practice different, yet related disciplines. The discussion and interaction that results often challenges and strengthens our design responses -- providing design solutions that probably would not have occurred if we did not have a collegial culture and a practice founded on open communication. CSW/ST2 has an organized approach to projects, our business and its operations. This provides our clients and staff with many benefits. Thanks to the solid support provided by our Admin, Accounting, HR, Marketing, and IT departments, our technical staff is able to spend more time doing what they do best -- working on projects rather than paperwork. Efficient business practices and emphasis on client communication have helped us to attract and retain a long-standing roster of repeat clients, accounting for up to 70% of our commissions over the past 10 years. That translates into a palpable synergy between many of our staff members and their clients – and presents us with a great foundation for doing excellent work. Our offices are easily accessible to many Bay Area communities, with staff members enjoying reverse commutes from San Francisco, the East Bay, Napa, Sonoma and Marin Counties. Each office is only a few minutes from the highway and offers abundant surface parking in adjacent parking lots. Each office also enjoys associated outdoor space used for everything from lunchtime barbecues or jam sessions to volleyball games and our Annual Salsa Contest. Annual Company Getaway - Auburn Rafting Adventure Those of us with a sweet tooth enjoy the company's Annual Bake-Off. Each day during the several week long event different employees bake their favorite dessert and bring in a large serving for others to try. Another perk is our Annual Company Getaway - a weekend of fun for CSW/ST2 employees and their families. Recent excursions have included trips to Monterey, Old Town Sacramento, Bodega Bay, Auburn, and San Francisco. And recently a large group of bicyclists enjoyed a 13.5 mile "Turkey Trot" throughout the hills of Novato on a long lunch hour. Perhaps these are some of the reasons CSW/ST2 was recently selected as one of the Best Places to Work in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal, a designation based on ratings of credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.
