The City of Novato selected CSW|ST2 to prepare the civil and structural design for rebuilding Fire Station 64. Novato Fire Station 64 is a 7,500 square foot facility built to replace an existing station and to better serve the needs of the Novato Fire District and the community it serves. The new station incorporates design features that consider infrastructure for future changes in technology, administrative needs and operations; as well as blend with the existing topography, streets, traffic flows and parking demands.
The new facility is constructed using materials that are sustainable, durable, easily maintained and cost effective. The building was designed to obtain LEED Platinum Certification. Construction was completed in September of 2015.
